Wonderful Tonight

Its late in the evening,
she wondering what clothes to wear,
she puts on her make up and brushes her long blonde hair,
and then she asks me, do i look all right?
and i say, yes, you look wonderful tonight.
We go to a party and everyone turns to see,
this beautiful lady thats walking around me.
And then she asks me, do you feel all right?
And i say, yes, i feel wonderful tonight.
I feel wonderful because i see,
they were light in your eye
and the wonder of it all.
Is that you just don't realize how much i love you.
Its time to go home now and i have got an achinghead.
So i give her the car keys and she helps me to bed.
Andthen, tell her, as i turn out the light.

I say, My darling, you are wonderful tonight.
